Queen Madison Atkinson

 

Miss Railroad Days 2012 Queen Madison Atkinson is the daughter of Sue and John Atkinson and is a junior at Durand Area High School. Madison is in track and has earned the 2011 Genesee Athletic Conference Champion. She helps coordinate clean ups for Trumble and Optimist Parks, volunteers as an aide at Owosso Memorial Hospital, serves as a counselor for vacation bible school at her church, volunteers for events through the National Honor Society and helps at a homeless shelter through Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Her hobbies include baking, reading and traveling. Madison’s future plans are to attend medical school to become a pediatrician and do some missionary work. Madison is sponsored by Holiday Shores RV Resort.

 

 

 

 

Attendant Bradyn Winiarski

 

Miss Railroad Days 2012 Attendant Bradyn Winiarski is the daughter of Lonai Ziesmer and is a senior at Durand Area High School. Bradyn is active in competitive cheer, track and field, student government, Business Professionals of America and National Honor Society. She has achieved Competitive Cheer Academic All State and All Conference, Track and Field State Finalist 2011, Rotary Student of the Month and is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. She volunteers through the National Honor Society helping with the Red Cross, Relay for Life and tutoring. Bradyn’s future plans are to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison to major in General Engineering with a focus in Nuclear Engineering. Bradyn is sponsored by her mother, Lonai Ziesmer.

Railroad Days 2012 Princess Jillian Milton is a student at Robert Kerr in Durand and is sponsored by Coffield Oil Company (Marathon Station) on Saginaw St in Durand.  Jillian is the daughter of Jamie and Chris Milton of Durand.

 

Railroad Days 2012 Prince Steven Canales, son of Brandon and Adeline Wharton of Durand, he has two brothers and one sister.  Steven is nine years old and is a third grader at Robert Kerr Elementary in Durand.  He is sponsored by Itchi Bon Bakery of Durand.  Steven participates in baseball, surfing, body boarding and is a bear in Cub Scouts.  He recently moved here from Hawaii and is the son of an Army Veteran.
